Two Party Participation
We deliver our loan participation products to borrowers via a network of CDFI lending partners whose priorities align with ours.

Prior to origination, we develop a participation agreement with each lending partner that:
- Establishes the types of loans that will be originated
- Specifies the parameters and roles of each lender in the relationship
- Defines how loans will be co-funded, risk shared, and fees split
In a two-party participation, we generally shares risk with a lending partner on a pari passu basis. This means we equally share risk in proportion to the amount of funding provided by each party in loan transaction.
We will fund 50% of a loan up to our current loan limits.
We will generally match the local partner’s loan structure, pricing and other terms and conditions extended to the borrower.
