Our vision is a world where low income people have the means to support themselves and their families in dignity. Our lending activities facilitate affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization initiatives, improve the availability quality of critical community services, promote entrepreneurship, and create economic opportunity for those often left out of the economic mainstream.
Between 2004-2008 we directly financed $14.54 million and leveraged $46.88 million from our lending partners.
Our impact:
- Supported 5,345 units of affordable housing
- Financed 63,816 community service slots for critical activities
including education, child care, health care, and human services
- Facilitated provision of 364,520 square feet of community
facility and commercial real estate
- Created or preserved 1,741 jobs
- Empowered the provision of microfinance to thousands of entrepreneurs in developing countries.
