Our vision is a world where low income people have the means to support themselves and their families in dignity. Our lending activities facilitate affordable housing and neighborhood revitalization initiatives, improve the availability quality of critical community services, promote entrepreneurship, and create economic opportunity for those often left out of the economic mainstream.
From 2006 through 2009 we have financed $15.50 million in loans and leveraged $54 million from our lending partners.
Our impact:
- Created 5,790 units of affordable housing
- Served over 60,000 people through community facilities activities
including education, child care, health care, and human services
- Facilitated provision of over 400,000 square feet of community
facility and commercial real estate
- Created or retained over 18,000 jobs
- Empowered the provision of microfinance to tens of thousands of entrepreneurs in developing countries.
