David U. Landis, II is a founding member of Community Housing Capital (CHC). Since 2000, CHC has originated and closed $520 million in acquisition, construction, and permanent affordable housing loans – financing 15,000+ units with a combined impact of $2.0 billion in affordable housing development. Currently, as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Landis is responsible for the overall management of CHC’s operations. Key responsibilities include oversight of organization’s credit, asset management, and loan administration functions. Additional responsibilities include capital development, investor relations, and collateral compliance and management.
Prior to joining CHC, Mr. Landis serviced as Director of Real Estate Asset and Risk Management and Real Estate Development Specialist with NeighborWorks America where he developed and implemented a comprehensive program to oversee National Housing Services of America’s multifamily loan origination programs. Mr. Landis serves on several committees including ROC USA (loan committee member) and NeighborWorks America Organizational Health and Real Estate Advisory Committees. Mr. Landis is a former CPA and licensed general contractor, with a Bachelor of Arts and MBA from the University of Texas.
